The first museum we will visit will be the Heritage Interpretation Centre of Almeria, where we can discover the most important historical phases that the city has lived, the Moorish Almería, on the first floor, the Christian Almería, on the second floor and the Contemporary Almería (the current one) on the top floor. From its roof we can see a great panoramic view of the most important fortress in the city, the Alcazaba.

Then we will visit the Museum of the Spanish guitar " Antonio Torres" to learn the history of this instrument, one of the most known and popular worldwide. In this museum you will discover the keys of this instrument in a pleasant and simple way, as well as its history and its great influence on art. You will be able to admire a beautiful exhibition about the guitars that have been played by internationally known artists such as Andrés Segovia, Paco de Lucía, Tomatito, etc.

Our next stop will be at the Doña Pakyta Art Museum, the residence of the Almerian businesswoman Doña Pakyta. Favourite daughter of Andalusia in 2010 and recognized for her commitment to the city and the environment that left as a legacy for the city her own house, an example of the Spanish regionalist architecture of the 1920s. A different cultural space where you can admire the Almerian art developed between 1880 and 1970.

And finally we will visit the Archaeological Museum of the city which is the most important museum institution in the whole province of Almería, as it houses inside the largest collection of archaeological objects of the same. We will be able to discover the first agricultural and livestock societies, as well as an exhibition dedicated to the Thousands, mosaics, Roman remains and a room dedicated to Islamic Almeria. You can also see a permanent and semi-rotating exhibition hall. Once the guided tour is over you will have free time to admire this last area.
